Waioneke is a wonderful community school that provides a solid educational foundation for New Entrant to Year 8 students. We have a beautiful rural setting, located on South Head Peninsula in North-West Auckland.
The staff at Waioneke are dedicated to providing the best possible learning environment for all of their students. Diversity is acknowledged and excellence is valued. All students are encouraged and guided to achieve their personal best.
Our school has a friendly, caring atmosphere. This is encouraged by our school value system, ‘The Waioneke Way’, which was developed with the students. The Waioneke Way focuses on particular values and encourages students to develop positive relationships and the language and skills to communicate clearly.
Our school is well served by an effective Board of Trustees and our Parent Teacher Association, and this is reflected in the ongoing development of our school environment.
